‘Flying Fish’
Commissioned by Salt Lake City Corporation (3 year rotating installation): Downtown District, 200 South Main Street, Salt Lake City, UtahSalt Lake City chose 12 local artists to create a unique interpretation of the theme “Flying Objects”. These works top 12 foot poles placed in various downtown locations. The locations will rotate over the course of three years. My work is a “flying fish”, a Betta fish (7'x 6' x 8') with 2/3 life size human arms each holding a 30" stainless steel feather with a cluster of smaller feathers.
