Alocal commission was handed over by the artist to an adjunct faculty of the art department. The commission was conceptualized and completed under the supervision of the adjunct, by myself and undergraduate art students. This contraption is a Rube Goldbergesque sequential machineto burn New Year’s resolutions for the Salt Lake City Firstnight New Year’sEve celebration. It was popular inits first year and was re-funded the next, wherein we added screens and videoprojection.
